Anxiety Therapy
for Women in Colorado

I support women with online therapy throughout Colorado who are navigating the constant weight of anxiety, the exhausting loop of overthinking, and the chronic burnout of trying to carry it all perfectly.

Anxiety isn’t just a localized storm in your mind; it lives intensely in your body. It is that familiar, tight restriction in your chest the moment you wake up, the restless vibration in your limbs, and the sheer exhaustion of keeping your composure while your inner world feels entirely unregulated. Together, we won’t just intellectualize your stress or tell you to think positive thoughts. We will work to calm your overactive nervous system, untangle the looping “what-if” thoughts keeping you stuck, and shift the heavy, anxious energy out of your body so you can finally ground yourself, let go of the pressure, and breathe deeply again.

    • Self-Judging: That inner voice that harshly criticizes every decision, word, or choice, leaving you feeling not quite good enough no matter how much you do.
    • Futurizing: Your mind jumps ahead to worst-case scenarios before anything has even happened. The “what ifs” feel louder than what’s actually real right now.
    • Overthinking: Constantly replaying past conversations or rehearsing future ones, making it nearly impossible to stay present in your own life.
    • Perfectionism: Setting impossible standards and living in quiet fear of failure, disappointment, or being found out as somehow not enough.
    • Avoidance Behavior: Steering clear of people, places, or situations that might trigger your anxiety, which slowly shrinks the life you’re living.
    • Social Withdrawal: Pulling back from friends and family to protect yourself from anxiety-provoking interactions, only to feel more isolated.
    • Irritability: Noticing that your patience is thinner than it used to be, and feeling frustrated with yourself for that too.
    • Procrastination: Putting things off not out of laziness, but out of genuine fear of overwhelm or failure.

If your nervous system feels like it’s running on high alert even when nothing is “wrong,” your body may be stuck in a pattern of chronic stress response. And that’s something we can work with together.

F.E.A.R. — False Evidence Appearing Real

Who is an anxiety therapist for women in Colorado? Individual therapy for women experiencing anxiety, overthinking, stress, emotional overwhelm, and difficulty feeling calm and grounded.

F.E.A.R. — False Evidence Appearing Real

This state of perpetual stress and anxiety often leads to what I call F.E.A.R.: False Evidence Appearing Real. Your mind creates stories about what might happen, and your body responds as though those stories are already true, tightening your chest, keeping you up at night, and making ordinary moments feel charged with dread.

Understanding this is the beginning of changing it. When you can recognize that your nervous system is responding to perceived threat rather than actual danger, you create space for something different.

There Is Another Way

Healing anxiety isn’t about thinking your way out of it, and it’s not about pushing harder or willing yourself to “just relax.” Real relief comes when we work with both your mind and your body, honoring the wisdom held in each.

As your anxiety therapist for women in Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs and across Colorado.  Bloom Wisdom Therapy goes beyond traditional talk therapy. One where you can actually hear your own inner wisdom again.

Whether you’re a high-achieving woman whose anxiety looks like productivity from the outside, or a woman anywhere in Colorado quietly carrying more than anyone knows, this is a space built for you. You can learn more about my approach and philosophy to get a deeper sense of how we work.

You don’t need to have it figured out before your first session. You just need to show up.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an anxiety therapist for women, and how is it different from general therapy?
An anxiety therapist for women takes into account the unique pressures, roles, and lived experiences that shape how women experience and express anxiety. When you work with me, you won’t need to spend your session explaining the weight of people-pleasing, perfectionism, or holding everything together. I already understand that landscape, and I work within it using somatic, holistic, and spiritually-informed approaches that go deeper than talk therapy alone.

What does somatic anxiety therapy actually mean?
Somatic therapy recognizes that anxiety doesn’t just live in your thoughts. It lives in your body. The tight chest before an email. The jaw you clench while you sleep. The shallow breathing you don’t even notice anymore. In our work together, I help you tune into those body-based signals, regulate your nervous system, and release the patterns of stress that have become stored in your physical experience. It’s gentle, grounded work that creates real and lasting change.

How much does online anxiety therapy cost?
Asking what therapy costs shouldn’t feel awkward, but somehow it does. Many practice websites bury their rates three clicks deep or skip them entirely, leaving you to do detective work at the exact moment you’re trying to take care of yourself. I believe in transparent pricing. In the Denver metro area, most therapists in private practice charge between $120 and $250 per session.

The fee for a 50-minute individual therapy session is $125.

I also offer a limited number of sliding-scale appointments ranging from $90–$120 per session, depending on availability.

Is online therapy covered by insurance

For commercial insurance plans, I am an out-of-network provider. If your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement for therapy sessions.

I can help you check your benefits through Mentaya, which estimates potential reimbursement and out-of-pocket costs. I also provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

In addition, I accept a limited number of Medicaid clients.

Do I need a diagnosis to start working with an anxiety therapist in Colorado?
No. You don’t need a formal diagnosis of generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, or anything else to begin. Many of the women I work with simply know that something feels off, that they’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or running on empty, and that’s more than enough to start.

Can anxiety therapy help with perfectionism and people-pleasing?
Absolutely. Perfectionism and people-pleasing are two of the most common ways anxiety shows up in women, and they’re often deeply rooted in early beliefs about worth, safety, and belonging. I work with those roots, gently and at your pace, so you can begin to live from a place of inner guidance rather than fear.

Do you offer online anxiety therapy in Colorado?
Yes. I offer online anxiety therapy for women throughout Colorado, so you can work with me from anywhere in Colorado including Denver, Colorado Springs, Aurora, Fort Collins, Lakewood, Thornton, Arvada, Westminster, Pueblo, Greeley, Centennial, Boulder and more.

Sessions are held virtually through a secure platform, making it easy to access support wherever you are in the state.

What if I’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t really work?
This is one of the most common things women share when they first reach out to me. If previous therapy felt too surface-level, too focused on thinking rather than feeling, or like something was just missing, a somatic and spiritually-integrated approach may be what makes the difference. I work below the level of the story to help you create shifts that actually stick.

How do I know if working with an anxiety therapist is right for me?
If worry, overthinking, or stress are interfering with your sleep, your relationships, your work, or your ability to feel present in your own life, working with an anxiety therapist can help. If you’re tired of pushing through your days and ready for something that addresses the root of what you’re feeling, this is a good place to start.

How do I get started with anxiety therapy for women in Colorado?
Getting started is simple. Reach out to schedule a free consultation and we’ll talk about what you’re experiencing, what you’re looking for, and whether working together feels like a good fit. There’s no pressure and no commitment. Just a conversation.  To get information on my fee and information on insurance click here…
